22nd November sees our local star Lerato Mvelase rubbing shoulders with the who’s who of the Internatinal Film Industry. Lerato has been nominated for her performance in Home Affairs. The awards will be held in New York. Mvelase is up against British actress Helena Bonham Carter, German actress Iris Berben and Brazilian actress Lilia Cabral. Lerato is not the first local star to grace this event. Local talent like Brenda Ngxoli has also been nominated for the Emmy’s.
